Algebra Change of Subject 2

In the previous lesson, you have uncovered the implication of 'change of subject' and the processes involved.

Task 1
collaborative work

using TI-Nspire to

build your foundation on the key concept using examples presented in a collaborative environment.

========================================================
Task 2
Pair work

based on the activity in task 1, reflect on the processes involved and write it down on your worksheet 5.
Identify at least 2 points for consideration for 'Change of Subject'.
You may discuss with a partner in class.
Submit this at the end of the lesson.

Worksheet 5, ACE learning.

Task 3
individual work

Extension of understanding on Change of Subject

Identify a formula in other subject areas (other than Mathematics)
- define which subject area the formula is applied and what the formula is about
- define all the variables used
- identify a variable (other than the one presented) to make a subject.
(ensure that this is possible)
[post this as a comment - do not include your solution[

example:
Subject: Physics
This formula is about the motion (movement) of an object
v = u + as
v - final velocity
u - initial velocity
a - acceleration of object
s - displacement
Question:
Make a the subject of the formula.
